Ahmed Ololade who is known professionally as Asake, is a Nigerian Afrobeats singer and also a prolific songwriter. He is signed to YBNL Nation by super star rapper Olamide, his music is being distributed by Empire Distribution. His music genre includes Afrobeat, Afro-fusion, Afropop and Hip Hop.
Asake often uses up tempo Afro and Amapiano-styled production. Some listeners have also described his style as similar to fuji because of his singing in Yoruba and use of slang in his songs. Asake bursted into the music scene with back to back hits, when no one saw him coming, with his 2022 album “Mr Money With The Vibe”.
